As an important part of JMP's Rehabilitation team, we are pleased to have two Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs). Richard Irby works out of the Sherman Oaks and Reseda locations, and Jennifer Peterson works out of both the Agoura Hills and Newbury Park locations. PTAs are skilled, licensed, technical workers who perform physical therapy modalities and procedures under the direction of a Physical Therapist. They must pass a two-part examination (California Board and California Law and Ethics) in order to be licensed. |

Richard originally worked at JMP as an aide from 1995 until 1998, when he relocated to Sacramento to continue his physical therapy career. |

Jennifer joined JMP in 2002, working as an aide until 2006. In 2004, she attended Cerritos College, acquiring her State Board License as a Physical Therapy Assistant in 2006. |
